Chrysler 300c?

Well I'm starting to see a few new Chrysler 300C driving around now, does anyone know if they have played around with the 250kW Hemi tune as yet?

I'm just wondering what kind of power they will get out of them with a few simple mods.

We've got the Fords being competetive now...it'll only be a matter of time before some decent mods/tuning comes out for the Hemi, and they start hitting the track.

Great looking car IMO. Very imposing.

Cheers,

Yeah to be honest I don't mind the look of them at all, they are big and bloody heavy but would make a cool cruizer with a nice big set of wheels.

Does anyone know how many cubes the Hemi's in the 300C are??

What FEBS said- a very imposing looking car. It will be interesting to see what they perform like with a few mods.

My uncle was thinking of getting his 300C looked at by a tuner, but at the time 5 months ago there wasn't anyone who I knew of that could do anything for it, now his picking up his SRT8 today which I believe is around 317kw which I think he says should be enough for a little while.... Time will tell!

the SRT8 is fast,

but there are some rumors going around of Mopar releasing a 400KW Tune kit for it in the near future and a 350KW Tune for the Non SRT8 Versions

Friend of mine picked up his new 300C Touring Wagon last Thursday night, just in time to use it as the tow car at Willowbank for the Winters.....

Friday night, after our first qualifier, we went down to the scrutineering shed and put it on the scales......with a starter and battery in the back, it weighed in at 4267lb, or 1939kg, take off say 39kg for those bits, and you got a 1900kg 5.7 litre wagon, that performs not too badly. At this stage, about quarter tank of petrol, left from driving it from Holland Park to Willowbank.

Waiting for the SRT-8 version now.....

Sure do, I seen it again today.

Silver with a set of chrome wheels, You could do a lot to one of these to make it stand out without touching the body at all.

Awesome beast the SRT/8.Had a look at them while checking out BF's.Adrien Brien Ford sell both brands in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. The salesman said."if you see one of these coming.get out of the way".Apparently they're very popular with the underworld/bikie powerbrokers......but yea nice- build quality wasn't as good as the locals though and handling doesn't seem to be a priority.
Ironic that AB Ford is across the road from Mitsubishi where the Chrysler plant was in the eighties.A little bit of Aussie input and build quality would go a long way?

I went to the Sydney Motor Show on Friday Night and saw the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. 20 inch rims, 6.1 HEMI and best of all it was all BLACK!
I so want one!!!!

Then watched "OVERHAULIN" on Discovery channel and they had a Dodge Tourer (which is basically the 300c Wagon) belonging to a petit english MILF.

Mr FOOSE (Legend) shoved a paxton supercharger and 22inch (I think) Custom FOOSE rims on the beast!

OMG!!! they thing sounded like Godzilla on heat!!!!!!

yeh the Hemi Rocks,

a 5.7 In a Jeep does 12SEC STD!
a 6.1 300C Does 13.8 (Advertised) But the 5.7 300C Does 13's all day, so i guess it will be lower
